Maxim Golod has been one of Nybro’s top forwards this season.
But now the 23-year-old is suddenly fired and leaves with immediate effect.
– Through his actions, Maxim has internally violated the values that we have in Nybro Vikings, says sports director Rasmus Aro.
Before the season, Nybro Vikings IF signed the Canadian forward Maxim Golod with the idea that he would be one of the team’s top forwards.
He has since also delivered after that with eleven goals and 22 points in 40 games, which is tied for third best in the team. Golod has also had the sixth most ice time of all forwards on the team.
But now the 23-year-old suddenly leaves the club. Namely, Nybro signs his website that Golod be dismissed with immediate effect. In other words, he gets fired.
– Through his actions, Maxim has internally violated the values that we have in Nybro Vikings and therefore a continued collaboration is no longer possible, says sports director Rasmus Aro and continues:
– We are confident in the decision, which was taken for the good of the association by the board, club management and head coach, but of course think it is very sad that it would have to end this way.

Nybro also writes further that they will not comment on the situation further as they see this as exaggerated.
Maxim Golod In addition to his points, he has also incurred 53 suspension minutes, which is second most in Nybro and seventh most of all players in HockeyAllsvenskan.
