4 Different Schedules to Make the Most of Visiting New York in 3 Days

Information to remember

The challenge of visiting New York in 3 days is indeed surmountable, even if obviously, you will not be able to see and visit everything.

I am therefore not offering you a single typical schedule over 3 days, but 4 different schedules. Because obviously to enjoy these 3 days in New York, you will have to make choices!!! And precisely, thanks to this, you will be able to choose what type of schedule appeals to you. So here are my tips and good tips.

  • I suggest you 4 different schedules because not everyone has the same desires, tastes and passions:
    – Un planning “FIRST TIME in New York”
    – Un planning “SECOND TIME in New York”
    – Un planning “ENTITH TIME in New York”
    – Un planning “MY FAVORITES”

  • To enjoy your stay and save money, I recommend either:
    – The New York CityPASS because it offers all the city’s must-see attractions while saving more than 40%.
    – Or an à la carte Pass which allows you to choose the attractions that interest you.

Visiting New York in 3 days means:

– Walk a lot: so have good shoes
Get to the point : so prepare your schedule carefully so as not to forget anything
– Little time for queues, queues, journeys in transport: so book everything you need online before leaving (taxi shuttle, New York City Pass, tour en hélico, …).

4 plannings-types

Here are my 4 typical schedules for New York:

  • The “FIRST TIME in New York” schedule:
As its name suggests, it’s for those who are coming to New York for the first time or they haven’t been for more than 15-20 years and want to do the must-sees again.
  • The “SECOND TIME in New York” schedule:
Here it is for people who come back a second time or even a third time, and therefore want to do something other than the classics.
  • The “umpteenth time” schedule:
It’s a perfect schedule for those who have already been to New York several times and want to get off the beaten track and discover another New York. You may not do 100% of this planning “umpteenth time” but it could inspire you for a few half-days or days during your new stay in New York.
  • The “MY FAVORITE” schedule:
And finally, a schedule where I put all my favorites. It can go to those who come for the first time as well as for the umpteenth time. And so I put everything I love about New York… well, rather everything I love above all, because there is a lot missing. I would have added passages in the Bronx to City Island in particular, going to Governors Island… but hey it’s a one-week schedule, so I’m limiting it to 7 days! 🙂

Why 4 different schedules?

Because everyone has different desires, desires, passions and tastes… and different experiences in the city. So everyone will be able to see what type of schedule they are in… and of course, you can modify these schedules as you wish. 😉

What are the places, times and good deals not to be missed under any circumstances?

For me, all plans over 3 days and of course a week or more must bring together at least these visits to better capture and understand this magnificent city of New York City:
– A climb to theEmpire State Building or to Top of the Rock : to discover New York and Manhattan from above.
– Climbs to the top of other observatories like The Edge, SUMMIT One Vanderbilt where the One World Observatory.
– A walk Central Park
– A stop on Broadway in Soho for Shopping : because for me, it’s the place where there are all the nicest, fashionable stores, whether for shoes with sneaker stores, Converse, but also stores like Hollister, American Eagle, Levi’s,…
– Walk to Times Square : the place where New York’s madness is most blatant. Lights everywhere, shops, people, tourists,… you have to see it to believe it.
Union Square : the place to meet the locals!!!
– And NBA game New York Knicks or a show on Broadway : according to your preferences.
