Publishing house 11 bit studios and studio Fool’s Theory have released a seven-minute video of the role-playing game The Thaumaturge. In the video, we were shown an incomplete passage of one of the quests, during which the main character will save a girl from the secret police of Tsarist Russia (that is, the secret police), whose members speak in the purest translit (“Idyosh s nami!”).
Synopsis:
The Thaumaturge – a role-playing game with a deep plot and difficult moral dilemmas in the scenery of Warsaw of the 20th century. In this world, there are salutors – otherworldly creatures whose true nature is revealed only to thaumaturges.
The game will take place in Warsaw in 1905, a city that “lives under the yoke of the Russian Empire.” The main character will be a thaumaturge named Victor Shulski, and the developers themselves make promises typical of the genre of “unpredictable consequences,” “a unique combat system,” and a “detailedly recreated world.”
The Thaumaturge will be released on PC on February 20, and will reach current-generation consoles “later.”
