The Estimates Department at the Meteorological Department in the General Directorate of Civil Aviation expected that the weather tomorrow will be mostly cloudy and fog in the highlands, with a slight rise in temperatures that remain below their seasonal rates. Scattered and intermittent rain will fall and it is expected to intensify at times and be accompanied by lightning, thunder and active winds. Snow also falls at an altitude of 1,300 metres.
The bulletin stated the following:
-General condition: Volatile and sometimes rainy weather will dominate Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean during the coming days, with temperatures below their seasonal averages.
Note: Average temperatures for February in Beirut are between 11 and 19 degrees, Tripoli is between 9 and 18 degrees, and in Zahle is between 3 and 13 degrees.

Friday: Partly cloudy to cloudy at times with fog on the highlands and a limited rise in temperatures that remain below their seasonal averages. Scattered rain will fall with some light snow at an altitude of 1,300 metres. Widespread clearings are expected during the day and the risk of ice remains on the internal and mountain roads above. Winds are also active and intensify at times, reaching speeds of 55 km/h in the north. Scattered rain falls, interspersed with relief during the day, and some snow falls at an altitude of 1,500 meters.
The temperature on the coast is from 9 to 15 degrees, above the mountains from 1 to 11 degrees, and inland from 2 to 10 degrees.

Visibility: Good on the coast, worse on the highlands.
