Russian Plane Drops Aerial Bomb in Zimogorye: Latest Incident in a Series of Bombings

On February 1, a Russian plane dropped an aerial bomb in the city of Zimogorye in the so-called “LPR,” reports Astra with reference to sources.

The ammunition, presumably FAB-500, fell on Parkhomenko Street. Residents of the street were evacuated. According to the publication’s interlocutors, the inspection and removal of ammunition will take place on February 2.

This is not the first time Russian planes have dropped bombs. By calculations Astra, in the Belgorod region alone, the Russian military dropped at least five FAB-250 aerial bombs.

The last incident occurred on January 27. One FAB-250 aerial bomb was found in the village of Postnikov, Korochansky district, Belgorod region, the second – in the village of Streletskoye, Belgorod region. About 150 residents living within a radius of 500 meters from the site where the aerial bomb fell in the village of Streletskoye were evacuated. No harm done.
