Two rainwater management projects in the settlements of Eleousa and Vounoplagia of the Municipality of Zitsa are included by decision of the Epirus Regional Governor, Mr. Alexandros Kahrimanis, in the “Epiros” Program 2021-2027.
In particular, these are the following:
- “Arrangement of rainwater settlement P.K. Mountainside”, total public expenditure of 2,700,000 euros. The project concerns the construction of an internal rainwater drainage network in the settlement with a receiver of the ditch network, in order to prevent surface runoff in the points of the common areas of the settlement, where a severe problem is created during periods of heavy rainfall.
- “Arrangement of rainwater of the settlements of D.K. Merciful,” total public expenditure of 1,240,000 euros. The project concerns the construction of an internal rainwater drainage network in D.K. Eleousa, and specifically on Vounoplagia, Rodotopiou, Leonida streets, as well as parts of Anargyro Street and Dimokratias Avenue. The recipient of the network will be existing ditches (opposite Prasini Gonia and opposite the Kozani-Ioannina EO).
