“My brother, the damned owl.” This is how one of Calleri’s friends celebrated the goal of the forward São Paulo on social media in the 2-1 victory against Corinthians, last Tuesday, in the match that ended an almost ten-year taboo for the tricolor club at the Neo Química Arena.

Still in Itaquera, Calleri revealed the joke to the press. According to the player’s friends, he always opens his eyes to score goals:

– It was for my friends. We spent the holidays talking about this, I said I was going to change the goal celebration. It was for them, who supported me in my worst moments, who are always with me giving me morale. It’s for them, who make me happy every day so that I can be happy – said Calleri, being asked afterwards by ge if he will repeat it on Sunday, in the final of the Brazilian Super Cup, against Palmeiras:
