Traffic Disruptions and Road Closures in Aix-en-Provence and Surrounding Areas

From Peynier to Fuveau on the D6/D46 towards Trets, as well as around the Rousset activity zone, disruptions are expected from 6:00 a.m. until early afternoon.

Also, in Châteaurenard, disruptions are expected on the D28 as well as nearby roads from 9 a.m.

It is therefore recommended to avoid these areas and to anticipate your trips.

The A7 towards Lyon should reopen in the evening as well as the exit at interchange no. 26 “Senas”.

The A51 motorway remains blocked in both directions at the junction with the A8 motorway : a mandatory diversion is in place from the RN296 (towards Aix) to the RD7N (Saint-Cannat).

The A51 is also closed in the direction Marseille -› Gap at the ramp towards the A8: all vehicles are sent back to the A8 towards Nice.

– The exit ramp at “Jas-de-Bouffan” on the Galice road is still closed.

In the north -› south direction

– To get to Aix-Centre from Venelles, motorists will have to exit at interchange no. 12 des platanes,

– Those coming from Venelles and heading south of Aix-en-Provence will be diverted towards the RD7N towards Saint-Cannat.

To reach the south of Aix-en-Provence, they will then have to follow Éguilles and stay on the RD543 until the Milles area.

In the south -› north direction

– For motorists coming from the A8, from Coudoux towards Gap, the exit will be compulsory at the Aix-Ouest interchange, then they will take the Route de la Galice and Avenue De Lattre de Tassigny.

– For those coming from the A8 from Nice towards Gap, the A8 / A51 ramp is closed. The exit is obligatory at interchange no. 31 then you have to go around the center of Aix-en-Provence.

– Finally, for motorists coming from the A51 towards Aix-en-Provence West, take exit no. 5 via the D9 then follow Éguilles and Saint-Cannat.
