A housing listing analysis from December 2023 placed three Manhattan neighborhoods among the 15 most expensive in the United States.
The study, carried out by the real estate portal Home, measured the price of each neighborhood per square foot it has. In this sense, West Village (11), Metropolitan Hill (12) and Hudson Square (14) appear.
South of Market, located in downtown San Francisco, took first place. According to the analysis, the museums, the vibrant nightlife and the combination of ‘loft’ buildings and high-rise condominiums led it to lead the list.
The cost per square foot in South of Market is $5,415. The classification is closed by Jupiter Island, in Florida ($2,394 dollars).
