Daniil Bulajev and Davinspiro Camerata Christmas Concert: Gershwin, Mozart, and More

In the program “Latvijas koncertzālēs” – the opportunity to listen to violinist Daniil Bulajev, his guests and the orchestra Davinspiro Camerata concert “Christmas with Gershwin and Davinspiro Camerata“, which took place in the Great Guild before Christmas – on December 23! In concert with the violist Santa Lucija Circeni, who is currently studying at the Hans Eisler School of Music in Berlin, the concert featured Mozart’s concert symphony for violin and viola with the orchestra, Daniil Bulayev’s duet with Davinspiro Camerata concertmaster Andrei Yegorov was sparked by the temperamental Pablo Sarasate Navarra for two violins and orchestra, but the colors of Andrei Pushkarev’s vibraphone enriched the orchestra’s palette in the new arrangements of George Gershwin’s compositions by Andrei himself.

The sound director of the radio recording is Modris Bērziņš.

We also listen to a small fragment of a pre-concert interview with the participants of the concert – Daniil Bulajeva and Sant Lúcija Circeni, who were invited by Edgars Raginskis to the “Klasikas” studio, about how this concert program came to be.
