Pavol Demitra’s Wife and Children Honored at Blues Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

They stick together, they don’t forget! The still beautiful wife of hockey player Paľ Demitra (†36), Majka, shone with her children Zarka and Lucas in the sold-out hall at the St.Louis stadium. With what followed after the official ceremony, no one counted on it, take a look:

She never wanted to be a celebrity, but there is still interest in her. Majka Demitrová (46) and her children live a peaceful life in Trenčín, trying to put the past connected with the tragic death of her husband and father Pavle behind them. We’ve been hearing more about them lately, and for extraordinary reasons. During the weekend, January 21, at the hockey club St. Louis honored the new members of the Blues Hall of Fame. A Slovak hockey player also got into it Pavol Demitra (†36) and with him Keith Tkachuk and Mike Liut.

Memories of her husband and father came alive again

It must have been incredibly difficult for all three to remember, but both the children and the wife endured the onslaught of emotions with honor. After all, it was also a celebration of his life and what he was like.

Pavol Demitra played 494 matches in the overseas team, in which he scored 204 goals and 289 assists. He worked in the Blues from November 1996 to the 2003/04 season. The news that Pavel Demitra will be inducted into the hall of fame of the club St. Louis Blues, the famous hockey player Keith Tkachuk himself announced to Majka via video call last year in October. He was not only Demitra’s teammate, but also his good friend. Mária did not hide her enthusiasm and emotion. Watch her reactions in the video:

“I can’t believe it. I didn’t expect it at all. I’m still processing it,” she said at the time. This time she personally went to St.Louis with her children Zarka and Lucas. The three players were then honored with the fans before the match against Washington, where Majka threw in honorary balls and posed together.

Their lives have changed, she doesn’t change at all

In September 2023, 12 years have already passed since Slovakia lost the excellent and charismatic ice hockey player Paľ Demitra († 36) after a plane crash. Demitrová’s mother’s world collapsed and she was left alone with her children Lucas and Zara.

The children have already grown up. Handsome Lucas (20) does not deny his sporting talent, he is successful in football, Zarka (18), who showed off her long legs, is a beautiful mix of father and mother. In the past, she was involved in athletics, she will graduate in the spring.

Majka Demitrová, who until now lived only for her son and daughter, admitted several times that she came to terms with Paľ’s tragic death only after many years. After years of loneliness, she is finally happily in love. As Diva writes. sk her partner is to be Peter Bak, a well-known lawyer from Bratislava:

It’s hard to believe that Mária is already 46 years old. She is a prime example of what a naturally beautiful woman looks like, without aesthetic procedures. Maja and her children are staying in St. Louis enjoyed, the ovations of almost 20 thousand fans in the sold-out hockey hall did not end. The moderator reminded that Lucas is a native of St. Louis.

“It’s like time travel. We were here 20 years ago when Lucas was born and I think that was the best and happiest year of Paul in the St. organization. Louis Blues,” declared Majka Demitrová in the company of Blues legends and players. She then thanked everyone via her Instagram account, where St.Louis Blues has almost 700,000 fans.

“We would like to thank the Blues organization, the fans and the entire city of St. Louis for welcoming us back. It was great to be back, see familiar places and meet friends. We enjoyed it very much! It was great and it was hard for us to leave. You took excellent care of us. Thanks for everything and for remembering Pavel. Maja, Lucas and Zara Demitrovci,” they wrote in the opinion.

A unique gift at the end surprised them, Paľ’s jersey returned to the family

Proof that the fans of St. Louis did not forget Pavel Demitra and the unexpected and great gesture of one of them still lives in their hearts. Before boarding the return flight to Slovakia, Maja Demitrová received a memorable gift from a Blues fan – Pavlov’s jersey from the 2002 match.

It was owned by the Buchanan family, who live near the Lake of the Ozarks, and have owned the jersey for several years. They won it in a charity raffle. As the St.Louis Instagram profile further states, “Today he was returned to where he rightfully belongs – to the Demitrov family.”
