Suaranusantara.com- Visual media is well-known for creating the best graphics and lists from various fields, products and services in the world, namely Visual Capitalist, recently released a list of the world’s best-selling cellphones (HP) of all time.
In the list which summarizes the 15 best-selling cellphones in the world, the top position is not held by an Android smartphone or iPhone, but by a feature phone or simple feature phone.
The best-selling cellphone of all time according to Visual Capitalist is the Nokia 1100, a feature cellphone released by Nokia around 2003. According to Visual Capitalist records, this cellphone managed to sell around 250 million units before being discontinued in 2009.
The success of the Nokia 1100 seems to continue with its successor, namely the Nokia 1110, which occupies second place on the list of the world’s best-selling cellphones in history with total sales of around 248 million units. This cellphone was also discontinued around 2007.
Only in third place on the list of the best-selling cellphones in the world do products made by Apple appear, namely the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus (combined), with total sales of around 222 million units.
The fourth position is again occupied by Nokia with the Nokia 105 Series which sold around 200 million units, and the fifth position is filled by Apple with the iPhone 6S/6S Plus (combined) with total sales of around 174 million units.
In Visual Capitalist’s list of the 15 best-selling cellphones in the world, the majority of products on this list are made up of Nokia and Apple branded cellphones.
The cellphone brand from South Korea, namely Samsung, only has one cellphone on this list, namely a feature phone product called the Samsung E1100. Visual Capitalist noted that this cellphone is in 14th position as the best-selling cellphone in the world with total sales of around 150 million units.
