As usual, at 9:00 p.m., the station arrival hall was crowded with relatives coming to welcome overseas Vietnamese back home to celebrate Tet. Staff of travel companies are also busy raising nameplates to welcome groups International visitors come to Vietnam at the end of the year.
Feeling excited to welcome her mother back from Korea to celebrate Tet, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh said that it has been 20 Tet holidays, and every year she and her family go to the airport to welcome her mother back to reunite the family. “When Tet comes, my mother is with my family, so I’m always looking forward to holding my mother in my arms soon,” Ms. Thanh emotionally confided.

Representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport, said the port operates 722 flights, including 275 international flights with 46,200 international passengers.


During this year’s Tet peak, the airport serves about 4.3 million passengers, an increase of 14% compared to 2023. Of which, international visitors are 1.4 million, an increase of 38% compared to 2023.

Faced with rising passenger demand, the Vietnam Aviation Administration continues to adjust parameters for runway coordination and flight control services at Tan Son Nhat International Airport at regular hours. day (6:00 a.m. – 11:55 p.m.) from 44 slots/hour to 46 slots/hour, night time frames (00:00 a.m. to 5:55 p.m.) from 40 slots/hour to 42 slots/hour.
