Now scientists have moved further. After some genetic modifications of cells, researchers discovered that they can protect the body from age-related diseases and literally rejuvenate it. The method has already been tested on mice and obtained very good results. As a result of the experiment, the rodents’ weight decreased, their sugar levels dropped, their metabolism improved, and their endurance and activity appeared. No similar therapy exists today, according to the creators of the technique. A team of scientists is preparing a scientific publication about their discovery, which should appear in the journal Nature Aging.
