- The Ministry of Health tells citizens that if they are part of the priority groups and have not yet received their vaccine against Influenza or COVID-19, they should go to their health unit, since this avoids serious complications in the event of falling ill due to these conditions.
The Ministry of Health of Tabasco continued this Friday in the health units and in shopping malls with the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 and seasonal influenza in the municipality of Centro and in the rest of the municipalities.
The state agency specified that in all Tabasco Health Centers, vaccines are administered free and safely.
The nurse at the Tamulté de las Delicias Health Center, Cecilia Guadalupe Morales Zamarrón, invited the population to heed the call of the authorities to protect their health.
He recalled that the Influenza vaccine is applied annually and in the case of COVID-19, health personnel are providing the biological Abdala.
“This year they implemented the Abdala COVID vaccine and also the influenza vaccine, which is why it is very important that it continues to be applied because the spikes we have in both Influenza and COVID continue to be important,” he said.
He commented that the population can apply both vaccines so they should go to their nearest health unit or take advantage of the fact that the biological is being supplied in some shopping malls.
“It is very important that vulnerable and at-risk people continue to be vaccinated, such as hypertensive patients, diabetics and even children who have not had any COVID vaccine,” he recommended.
