Viktor Orbán emphasized: the two countries have no unsettled affairs, and look at each other positively, looking for cooperation, the density and strength of diplomatic relations for some reason is not what it should be.
He added that the purpose of the current meeting is therefore to create closer cooperation, as there are all grounds for the two countries to cooperate much better than before.
Hungary has supported Moldova’s EU membership up until now, we will continue to do so, there is no compromise, no dispute, said Viktor Orbán.
According to him, Moldova is on a straight path towards EU membership, and Hungary understands the geopolitical environment that makes it necessary to join as soon as possible.
He added that it is not just that European Union membership is good for Moldova, but also that the European Union also needs new energy, it needs countries that are known as balanced, stable and inhabited by people who want to work.
