Motala defeated Töreboda at home in HockeyTrean Alltrean södra B with 6-2 (2-0, 1-0, 3-2). But a lot of talk was about Oscar Eckerberg – who scored a hat-trick for Motala. Other goals for the home team were scored by Elias Kornehed, Jakob Mattsson and Tom Nyberg, the goals for Töreboda were scored by Oskar Rylander and Alexander Rånge.
The victory was Motala’s fourth in the last five games.
At the beginning of the match, Motala was the strongest and grabbed the lead with 2-0 through goals from Oscar Eckerberg and Elias Kornehed. After 14:35 in the second period, Oscar Eckerberg netted again, on a pass from Albin Wadström and Lucas Mautner and made it 3-0. Motala also won the third period 3-2 and the match ended 6-2.
Motala’s Albin Wadström had four assists and Oscar Eckerberg scored three goals.
In the table, this means that Motala is now in second place. Töreboda is in sixth place.
