Lewandowski is at the top of the ranking. Only one is better!
It’s no wonder that it ranks high in this type of ranking. In 928 career matches, Lewandowski scored 651 goals and recorded 159 assists. This means that he participated in as many as 810 goals.
That’s three goals less than the winner of the classification, Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan, like Lewandowski, was the top scorer in the two leading leagues – English (2013/14 – 31 goals for Liverpool) and Spanish (2015/16 – 40 goals for Barcelona). The player, who has recently joined Inter Miami, has scored 557 goals and recorded 256 assists in his career.
It is worth adding that the Pole played fewer matches than Suarez, who is a year older than him. Summarizing his entire career, Lewandowski can boast an incredible average of 0.87 goals/assists per match. This is a higher coefficient than Suarez (0.86).
Zlatan Ibrahimović completed the podium. The Swede played football until he was 42. He impressed with his effectiveness in Ajax, Juventus, Inter, Barcelona, PSG, Manchester United and, above all, Milan. He was the top scorer five times – three times in Ligue 1 and twice in Serie A. In 789 matches of his career, he scored 573 times. His passes opened the way to the goal for his teammates 216 times.
Just behind the podium was Karim Benzema – the only striker in the ranking who has won the Ballon d’Or. The Real Madrid legend boasts a total of 470 goals and 197 assists.
The excellent group of subsequent places included, among others, European and world champions (David Villa), South American champions (Edinson Cavani), stars of the Premier League (Sergio Aguero), Serie A (Edin Dzeko) and Bundesliga (Klaas-Jan Huntelaar).
