Three men were shot to death in incidents a few hours apart on the streets of Brooklyn (NYC), although homicide figures have dropped 41% in recent weeks in the city.
None of the victims have been identified. The first fatal shooting in this streak occurred around 11:08 p.m. Wednesday on Schenectady Ave, near Sterling Place, neighborhood Crown Heights. The police said that a 37-year-old man was shot in the headreported Daily News.
Paramedics rushed him to Kings County Hospital, but were unable to save him. A person of interest was arrested in that case, but has not been identified.
Nearly half an hour later, at 11:36 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot less than two miles away, at Atlantic and Rockaway avenues in Brownsville. The victim was shot numerous times in the upper body and died at Brookdale Medical Center.
The third victim was found shortly after 2:40 a.m. on Hall St. near Myrtle Ave. in Clinton Hill. Era a 25-year-old young man who suffered a single gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics rushed him to Brooklyn Hospital, but were unable to save him.
