On Thursday, the European Handball Federation (EHF) published the list of six names per post, on which we find three Hungarian handball players.
Gábor Ancsin, who shared the duties of right winger with Máthé Dominik, who later got injured, the most successful Hungarian at the European Championship with 27 goals, the stand-in Bence Bánhidi and Adrián Sipos were among the best to be voted for among the defensive specialists.

The list was compiled by the EHF experts, 40% of the votes of the fans and 60% of the votes of the officials of the European federation count for the final ranking. The title of best player of the tournament (MVP) is awarded by the EHF experts.
Vote for the tournament in its smartphone application until midnight on Saturday, the final result will be announced on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Hungarian national team will play Slovenia on Friday at 15:00 for the 5th place, which would be the best European Championship result in the history of the national team.
