MEDAN, KOMPAS.TV- Commemorating the birthday of the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle or PDIP Megawati Soekarno Putri.
The children of the Al Jamiyatul Washliyah Orphanage, Medan city, celebrated by cutting tumpeng and giving prayers.
Baskami Ginting, Chairman of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province from the PDI Perjuangan faction, provided compensation entrusted by Megawati to the children at the orphanage.
Meanwhile, cutting the tumpeng is a sign of blessing at the age of 77. Megawati is given good health.
Baskami said that the joy of the orphanage children inspired all PDIP cadres to do their best.
