Thai national team will be the top ASEAN team in ranking FIFA after appearing sip on 2023 Asian Cup. The team manager, Nualphan Lamsam, is happy with that.
Thailand is currently the only Southeast Asian team that has qualified for the last 16 of the 2023 Asian Cup. Indonesia is still waiting for the fate of the Group D and Group F matches.
In two matches at the 2023 Asian Cup, Thailand recorded one win and one draw. Therefore, the War Elephant will rise to 102nd position in the world with a record of 1198.95 points.
Thailand displacing Vietnam. Golden Star Warrior slipped to 105th position with 1,194.52 points.
“Recently, Team Thailand has temporarily become number 1 in Southeast Asia thanks to its achievements in the 2023 Asian Cup, by winning tickets to the eighth final,” said Madam Pang as reported by Vietnamese media, Soha.
“I am amazed and want to applaud the efforts of the entire team. However, we will not stop there,” he added.
Thailand There will still be one Group F match in the 2023 Asian Cup. The strong Saudi Arabian team will be faced by War Elephant at Educations City Stadium, Thursday (22/1/2024) evening WIB.
