In preparation for the natural holiday Tu of Shvet, Simnika produced a festive video in sign language.
In the video, the principal of the school, Karin Gorlik, is seen marking words and concepts such as “trees”, “dried fruits”, “To Bashvet” and “almond tree” – and conveys a festive and optimistic message for the holiday that symbolizes the beginning of spring.

New frontal course in Haifa
And that’s not all – if you are interested in sign language and want to learn it, we are happy to announce the opening of a new face-to-face course in Haifa that will start on 01/30/24.
The course is intended for both adults and young people who want to learn sign language and integrate into this fascinating world. No prior experience or knowledge required! During the course you will learn the basics of Israeli sign language and you will be able to communicate with your friends in signs.
The study will take place once a week for 10 sessions. The course will be accompanied by various study materials, videos and presentations. At the end, you will receive a certificate confirming your knowledge of sign language at a basic level.
