This is written by several American media, including ABC.

It is under the nose of the plane that one of two tires fell off and rolled onto the runway. The incident happened on Saturday at the airport in Atlanta, one of the largest airports in the United States.

The plane in question was a Boeing 757 from Delta that was supposed to take off for Bogotá in Colombia.

The incident occurred during the aircraft’s taxi on the runway. It was someone on duty in the tower who alerted the pilot, according to an audio recording ABC has gained access to.

– One of your tires fell off, it rolled off the runway right behind you, he says.

The passengers had to return to the airport terminal and the departure to Bogotá was carried out on another plane.

Delta has issued an apology to its customers following the incident.

The incident happened a few weeks after a part of the hull came loose on one of the planes of Alaska Airlines on 5 January. This was also a Boeing aircraft, but of the 737 Max-9 type. The aircraft made an emergency landing, and no one was seriously injured, but all aircraft of the same type were grounded as a result of the accident.
