Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that Egyptian-Russian relations are historic, strong and renewed with time and circumstances, pointing out that there are many ties linking the two peoples.
He stressed: Egypt is capable of protecting its interests, maintaining its security, and supporting its brothers if they ask it to do so, stressing that Egypt is a country that does not attack anyone and always calls for peace and good relations, considering the path of cooperation is the best for peace without any threat from anyone.
He added, during a telephone conversation with journalist Ahmed Moussa, via the program “On My Responsibility”, broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, on Tuesday evening, that relations come within the framework of mutual respect between the two countries, stressing that Egypt is now a stable country capable of protecting its interests with everyone with the same ability and seriousness.
He explained that Egypt’s relations with the countries of the world are characterized by balance, sincerity and mutual respect to achieve the interests of peoples and not to interfere in the affairs of others.
