School Holiday Case: School did such work on Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha, Education Minister ordered investigation, know the whole matter

New Delhi: The Kerala Education Department has ordered an inquiry into the holiday-related incident at a government-aided school in Kasaragod district on Monday related to the Ram Temple Pran Pratistha ceremony. A government statement said General Education Minister V Sivankutty has directed the Director of Public Education to investigate the incident at Kudlu Sri Gopalakrishna High School, where a holiday was declared without official instructions from the education department.

Shivankutty has directed the Director of Public Education to conduct an investigation and submit the report within 24 hours. The District Education Officer (DEO) said that although the school authorities had submitted an application, it was not officially approved. According to school authorities, the headmaster has the authority to grant local holidays to the school and compensate by working on the second day.

Let us tell you that on Monday, a historic step was taken in the religious history of India with the consecration of the 51-inch high new Ram Lalla idol in the Ayodhya temple. The ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony was led by ‘Yajmaan’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi and lakhs of people watched the grand event on television in their homes and in temples across the country.
