In space, a huge ring-shaped structure was discovered that is so large that it defies humanity’s current understanding of the universe.
The ultra-large shape discovered by astronomers has a diameter of 1.3 billion light years and a circumference of 4 billion light years. As a result of its magnitude, even in the night sky from Earth, its shape would be 15 times larger than the Moon.
Called the Big Rung, the structure consists of a cluster of solar systems. This is the second form identified by British PhD student Alexia Lopez.

Studying at the University of Central Lancashire, Lopez said that neither of these two ultra-large structures is easily explained in current knowledge of the universe.
“Its enormous size, distinctive shape and cosmological proximity certainly tell us something crucial, but what exactly,” he said when Lopez presented the findings at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society.

They seem to contradict the cosmological principle that the universe should look the same everywhere.
Most experts believe that large structures in the universe like this formed through a stage called gravitational instability. Only this galaxy is predicted to have a size limit of around 1.2 billion light years, because larger objects would not have had time to form.
“These two structures are much larger giant arcs almost 3 times larger. And the circumference of the huge ring is comparable to the length of the giant bow. “From current cosmological theory, we don’t think structures of this size are possible,” Lopez explained. (rpblk/hm16)
