The wife of a Ukrainian showman Andrey Bednyakov – an actress Anastasia Korotkaya – spoke about the death of her 29-year-old sister.
According to Nastya, her sister could not cope with some life difficulties and illness and committed suicide at the age of 29.
“It was suicide. Her action showed the state in which I grew up, but if I came out of this state, then she couldn’t. She was 29 years old. She lived a hard life. But it was her choice. She was very sick. The only thing is, What I regretted was that I couldn’t find the right words to explain to her that she didn’t need to do this,” told A short interview with Ramina Eshakzai.
Bednyakov’s wife shared that her sister committed suicide when she arrived from filming. But Anastasia preferred not to tell anyone about the incident, because she did not like being pitied.
“She periodically said that she wanted to do it, but I didn’t really believe that it was even possible. She even did it when it was convenient for me… On the day I flew back from filming. Nobody knew. I just didn’t want to, so that they feel sorry for me,” the actress added.
