“I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of Artem Dovbik. To be honest, I didn’t think he would score more than ten goals. The season in Spain is still in full swing, but the Ukrainian has already overcome this milestone.
It is important that debutant Dovbik quickly became his own in Girona. The credit for this goes to another Ukrainian football player, Viktor Tsygankov, who appeared in Girona earlier and became one of the leaders. And Artem organically fit into the team actions of Girona, which demonstrates a quick transition from defense to attack, unlike the giants Real and Barcelona, who like to tinker with the ball. To be honest, I am more impressed by the style of Girona, whose players are looking for the shortest path to the opponent’s goal with the help of 3-4 passes, using Dovbik’s ability to play ahead at the forefront of the attack. I believe that Artem is comfortable in Spain because the local teams play themselves and allow their opponents to do so.
