Apple is preparing to launch a number of its newest devices in the near future. According to reports, the iPad Pro, iPad Air and MacBook Air will be released in March or April.
The information itself came from well-known leaker Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. It is said that after the launch of these three devices, Apple will focus on WWDC in June where they will introduce iOS 18 and various software updates.
iPad Pro and iPad Air
Regarding the three devices that Apple will launch in the near future, they have been discussed quite a bit in rumors over the last few months. It is believed that the iPad Pro will be the first Apple tablet to use a screen with an OLED panel, while in terms of SoC it will also be upgraded to the latest generation M3.
Using an OLED panel will certainly offer a number of advantages, including increased brightness, contrast ratio, and power efficiency compared to current LCD panels. Apple itself has used OLED in its latest iPhone and Apple Watch models.
On the other hand, the iPad Air will receive an internal update using the M2 chipset, and is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E support and Bluetooth 5.3. Meanwhile, the latest rumors also say that the iPad Air will feature a new camera bump design.
The launch of these two tablets will probably be eagerly awaited because Apple did not update their tablet line at all throughout 2023. The last iPad Air still used the M1 chipset and the iPad Pro using the M2 chipset was released in 2022.
The next generation iPad Air is said to offer screen sizes of 10.9 inches and 12.9 inches. Meanwhile, the iPad Pro will come with 11 inch and 13 inch screens.
MacBook Air
Still sourced from Mark Gurman, Apple plans to launch the MacBook Air with screen sizes of 13 inches and 15 inches simultaneously. Both will be equipped with the latest M3 chipset.
Apart from that, the Apple laptop will also get Wi-Fi 6E support. However, it seems that there will be no significant changes to the design aspects and other specifications.
