Ukrainian tennis player Diana Yastremskaya (WTA 93) reached the quarter finals of the 2024 Australian Open.
In the 4th round of the Australian major, the Ukrainian defeated the former first racket of the world in two sets Victoria Azarenka (WTA 22).

In the first game, Dayana lost 3:5, and also saved 2 set points in the 12th game at the reception. In the second set, the Ukrainian lost 0:3, but managed to turn the game around, won 4 games in a row, and then brought the match to its logical conclusion.
