Huang Guangzhi is a second-generation Taiwanese businessman. His father came to Chongqing 30 years ago and founded Chongqing Ideal Liquefied Petroleum Gas Industrial Co., Ltd. 20 years ago, Huang Guangzhi came to Chongqing and served as the chairman of Chongqing Good Times Industrial Co., Ltd., starting his own business in Chongqing.
“I live in Chongqing for more than 300 days every year, taking root and integrating into Chongqing with my Taiwanese folks. My children also live and study here.” Huang Guangzhi said that Taiwan compatriots in Mainland China are witnesses and participants in the peaceful development of cross-strait relations. In terms of daily life, after the introduction of the Taiwan Resident Residence Permit, his family was the first batch of Taiwanese compatriots in Chongqing to receive the permit. In terms of business, thanks to Chongqing’s steady economic growth and broad market space, his family business has grown from a small business making liquefied gas tanks to a medium-sized enterprise with more than 700 employees and more than 500 franchised dealers.
“Comfort and peace of mind” are Huang Guangzhi’s true feelings about living in Chongqing. He believes that Chongqing has sound infrastructure and convenient transportation. Taiwanese-style commercial complexes and convenience stores are also found in all districts and counties of the city.
