Police were able to arrest the man after receiving a call for a confused person attempting to enter the home. He was arrested when it turned out that he had not appeared in court in 2017 after receiving a report for disturbing public order.
It is not clear whether the man will now also be charged with attempted burglary. It is also not known whether Swift was at home on Saturday.
It is not the first time that people have tried to get in touch with the popular singer. In July 2022, a fan shouted threats over the intercom and said he would hurt Swift if they weren’t “together.” That same year, another fan crashed his vehicle into Swift’s home in New York. That man then refused to go with the emergency services until he had met her.
Previously, in 2021, 2019 and 2016, men had tried to break into Swift’s highly secured home at least three times. Swift also suffers from stalkers in her other homes.
