In Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, where snow is sparse, the lake surface rarely freezes even in the middle of winter. Therefore, the snow-capped Mount Fuji is clearly reflected in the water, and you can see two Mount Fujis at the same time.

At Tenjinhama (beach) on the northern shore of the lake, you can see ice flowers formed when the water in the lake is blown by the wind and freezes on the trees in mid-winter. If you want to see the lake and Mount Bandai at the same time, it is recommended to go to the south bank.

This is also a famous gathering place for swans. It can be reached quickly after getting off the national highway, and it is also close to ski resorts and hot springs.
