Two men arrested for deprivation of liberty in Moss
Two men have been arrested and charged with deprivation of liberty in Moss. There are two victims in the case and perhaps more, but no one is physically injured.
– I cannot go into this in detail, but they have sensed the fear, says operations manager Terje Marstad in the East police district to NRK.
– We received a message at 2 o’clock from a person who was in an apartment at the address in question, and he says there is an unauthorized person outside who he perceives as threatening. When we get there after a short time, we find two men who eventually get status as accused and are taken to the detention center, for the time being charged with deprivation of liberty, says Marstad.
The two accused men are in their 20s and 40s, while the two offended men are in their 20s.
– Those involved are not unknown to the police from before, says Marstad.
The police state that one was given the status of offended when they arrived at the scene, because they suspect that he has been held against his will.
– Is it the reporter who is offended?
– No, we will talk to the person who calls in a little later, and we are a little unsure of the status there. And then we have gradually also come into contact with another offended person in the center of Moss.
The police state that it is early in the investigation and say they need some time to conduct interviews to uncover what has happened.
