London, Jan 19 (EFE).- The Czech automobile company Skoda has entered women’s football with a sponsorship agreement with the women’s Chelsea, valued at 750,000 pounds (900,000 euros).
Skoda will be one of the brands present at Stamford Bridge when the Chelsea women’s team plays and at the English training camp, in addition to the fact that both the players and the coaching staff will be able to drive the company’s electric cars.
The agreement is for 18 months, until the end of the 2024-2025 season, and valued at £750,000.
This is Skoda’s first adventure in women’s football and “reinforces its commitment to women’s sport”, as explained in a statement, after sponsoring women’s cycling for several years, with races such as the Tour de France. EFE
