SALIC announced that it has received an official commission from the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai to install two new toll gates with the aim of improving the flow of traffic on the road network in the Emirate of Dubai.
The company said in a statement that, with the launch of the two new gates, “Salik expects to witness an increase in the number of trips generating annual revenues,” and “the company will present more details regarding the required initial evaluation, and the financing mix for the franchise versus managing the new gates, in addition to expectations regarding… Revenues, EBITDA and impact on the balance sheet, after completing detailed traffic studies and reaching an agreement with the Roads and Transport Authority.”
SALIC did not clarify the location of the two gates, knowing that the company operates 8 gates in Dubai: Al Barsha, Al Garhoud Bridge, Al Maktoum Bridge, Al Mamzar (south), Al Mamzar (north), Al Safa, Airport Tunnel, and Jebel Ali.
