Gastón Santos Pue was a bullfighter, western actor and equine rancher born in San Luis Potosí, the same place where he died on January 17.

His acting career was relatively short. Alfredo Ripstein, seeing that he had horseback riding skills, called him to sign a contract with Alameda Films and film a series of Mexican western films between 1956 and 1962, playing himself.
