Singer Madonna He is facing a lawsuit for starting late concerts on his Celebration Tour, in which he has appeared on stage up to three hours late.
This Thursday, the ABC news portal reported that the “Queen of Pop” has a lawsuit led by two men who attended one of the star’s concerts in New York.
The plaintiffs, identified as Michael Fellows and Jonathan Hadden, allege that they purchased tickets for the Celebration Tour, on December 13 at the Barclays Center, which mentioned that the event would begin at 8:30 p.m., but that was not the case. Well, the famous woman appeared on stage two hours later.
For this reason, they accuse that Madonna and the tour organizer, Live Nation, would be committing “disproportionate commercial practices, unfair and misleading“.
Among the arguments of the two fans are that they both had problems finding transportation after the concert and had to get up early to go to work and attend to family responsibilities the next day.
Fellows and Hadden accuse that this has not been the only time that Madonna has arrived late to her concerts, so they accuse damages and breach of contract.
In the documents, the accusing party argues that they have considered the health status of the “Like a Virgen” performer, which pushed her to delay the start of her tour, however, they added that they demand that the specified schedules be met.
The lawsuit was filed in federal court in Brooklyn, asking to become a class-action case for unspecified damages.
