The shocking change in the substitution of the extra-league sovereign is followed by another statement – the reasons for Václav Varadi’s dismissal were described by Dynamo owner Petr Dědek for the club’s website three hours after the first announcement.
“We know very well that this news surprised the public. We considered everything and I believe we made the right decision. Václav Varaďa did not meet the requirements we expected from his engagement,” the Pardubice owner continues to surprise.
“He repeatedly violated the terms of the contract with Dynamo. Doing nothing would also have consequences. But the whole situation deserves a deeper explanation,” comments Petr Dědek.
Václav Varaďa has been working in Pardubice since May, he led the team to victory in the Dolomiten Cup, to the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the final of the Spengler Cup. Dynamo left the Tipsport extraliga after 35 played rounds with 80 points, which is the tied record in the history of the Czech extraliga.
“Václav Varaďa did not fulfill the requirements we expected from his engagement.”
However, the Pardubice club states in relation to the termination of the contract: “Václav Varaďa contractually undertook to lead and methodically manage the coaches of the B team, the youth academy and the youth management, in order to unify the game system of the entire club. However, since Mr. Varadi took over as head coach of the A team, only one joint meeting was held, and that was before the start of the competitive season.”
And the management of Dynamo considers this way of managing the club’s game system to be “completely inadequate.” The club considers the alleged refusal to properly cooperate with the implementation team and the club’s scout, i.e. Petr Sýkora, to be an equally serious breach of the employment contract by Mr. Varaďa.

“The head coach of the team has a decisive influence on the management of the team, but he should respect the expert advice of the implementation team. It is unacceptable for the entire organization for the head coach to make important decisions independently without prior discussion with the coaching staff, i.e. the implementation team,” says the Pardubic website.
“He made important decisions independently without prior discussion with the coaching staff.”
The club also dealt with a similar problem for a long time in the field of cooperation with the members of the board of directors, who did not receive accurate information from the head coach. The management also had to deal with insults from selected players and members of the implementation team! “By his actions, Mr. Varaďa disturbed the atmosphere in the cabin before the most important phase of the season.”

“Yesterday we convinced ourselves that we have the best fans in the league. Thousands of them traveled to an away game midweek. They deserve to know the reasons for such a fundamental change in the leadership of Dynamo’s sports section A,” club owner Petr Dědek commented on the situation after yesterday’s win over Sparta in a packed O2 arena.
“By his actions, Mr. Varaďa disturbed the atmosphere in the cabin before the most important phase of the season.”
“Marek Zadina becomes the new head coach. A patient worker who gets a great opportunity. We believe that he will grab her by the scruff of the neck and help us move forward in terms of sport. We believe that the return of the legendary Petr Sýkora, who will take the role of assistant coach, will also have a positive impact on the functioning of the A team,” concludes the billionaire from Vrchlabí.
