Journalist Vitaly Portnikov explained that the Russian President wants more than he can afford.
The Russian Federation, first of all, poses a potential threat to all countries that border it, said Vitaly Portnikov. At the same time, the political analyst emphasized that wanting does not mean doing, since Putin does not yet have the strength and means to open a second front.

A Ukrainian publicist named European countries that could become victims of Russian aggression: “Russia can attack any country that has borders with it. Russia has borders with Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Norway and Poland. Choose any country from this set. I would like to repeat again: in each specific situation, the military-technical capabilities of the Russian Federation are quite limited.”
The journalist also expressed his point of view regarding the likelihood of the Russians seizing the Suwałki corridor: “Putin has an idea, and it is a classic one: to tear the Baltic countries away from other NATO countries by seizing the Suwałki corridor. This idea has been discussed for as long as I can remember: back in Soviet times they said that there was a possibility that if Poland became truly independent from the Soviet Union, and not a satellite country, which it was in the post-war years, then a problem could arise Suwałki corridor. I think this is all theoretical talk“.
Earlier, Portnikov warned that Putin’s goals for Ukraine have changed.
Portnikov also explained why Putin’s physical death “could happen faster than we think.”
Let us remember that Portnikov warned that the war was moving to a “new level of severity.”
