Meanwhile, he stated that the recommendation to maintain the use of face masks in people who feel sick is in force, while in schools it is up to the directors and parent committees whether or not they implement the measure. .
“If they recommend it, it is a useful measure, because it is not only about Covid and Influenza, but it is the time when the increase in respiratory diseases occurs. This measure helps us mitigate transmission,” he expressed.
The head of SESA commented that in the case of influenza there were three deaths, although she clarified that one of the people was not a resident of Querétaro. “He sought attention here and that is why he commented that there were three deaths.”
For now, he once again called on the target groups to go to the modules, health centers and family medicine units. Regarding this, he stated that a negative rapid test does not rule out another result.
“Let them know that we are attentive. If hospitalization is required, we are prepared for it. We can grow our installed capacity in the three public institutions,” he argued.

The target groups are: children under 5 years of age, adults over 60, pregnant women, people, regardless of age, who have a chronic disease such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, and HIV/AIDS, as well as people undergoing treatment for immunosuppressants.
