Steffi’s message in defense of her brother
Upon seeing these statements against her brother, Leo Méndez Jr., due to the viral video, Steffi Méndez stated: “I am disgusted by social networks, the level of hatred and repression that exists in certain comments leaves me speechless. We should live in a world without these shitty platforms, humans being humans.”
“We are turning into a hu… so shit… that I am happy to have stepped back and never expose my life to this again,” the young woman continued saying in a publication on social networks.
Along with this, DJ Méndez’s daughter took the opportunity to clarify and reveal how difficult her brother’s process was when making his homosexuality public.
“I am sure that for many coming out was not pleasant at all, especially in Chile, and even less so being exposed on television with an audience as burlesque, retrograde and repressed as in Chile,” criticized Steffi.
Finally, the young woman explained: “For people who don’t know, he had a terrible time in those days, he was repressed because he couldn’t live his truth. Unfortunately no one knew, and that’s why he did things that he didn’t even want to do.”
