The man named Kemal (51) was found dead in a rented house in Cikeas Udik Village, Gunungputri, Bogor Regency. What caused Kemal’s death is still mysterious.
Kemal’s body was found on Tuesday (16/1) morning by the landlord. The worker at the materials shop was found dead in the bathroom of the rented house.
Kemal was found in an ‘unnatural’ condition in the bathroom. His body covered in a sarong from the top of the head to the ankleswhile his head was tied with duct tape on the outside.
Kemal’s mouth and nose were also covered with duct tape. The question mark is that Kemal’s rented room is locked from the outside.
The Beginning of Kemal’s Body Being Found
Kemal’s body was first discovered on Tuesday (16/1) at around 08.45 WIB by the rented owner. The landlord was forced to break through the window because he didn’t get an answer when he called.
“When the residents found it, namely the rented owner, coincidentally when they banged there was no response from inside,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Bogor Police, AKP Teguh Kumara, to reporters, Tuesday (16/1).

Found Gloved and Tied
The victim was found dead in the bathroom. When found, the victim was curled up and wearing a glove that covered his face and body and the head was tied with black duct tape.
“When we found him, his pants were already open, he was squatting, he had fallen down curled up in a sarong up to his head and there was duct tape on his head,” added Teguh.
Apart from that, the victim’s mouth and nose were covered with duct tape.
“That’s right (duct tape covering the mouth and nose),” said Teguh.
House Door Locked from Inside
The police are still investigating whether there were other people in the previous rental the victim was found dead. However, from the results of the temporary crime scene investigation, the rented room door was locked from the inside.
“It is true that the door key is inside and the door is locked,” said Teguh.
