According to the expert, Ukrainians are perhaps the only ones who are interested in the Third World War starting as quickly as possible, “since things won’t get any worse for us.”
The likelihood that World War III will actually break out is very high, but it will not happen in 2024.
This opinion was expressed by the ex-company commander of the “Aidar” battalion and military expert Evgeniy Dikiy in interview YouTube channel “Great Lviv Speaks”.
“This is a question of probability. I assess the likelihood that it will start as much higher than the fact that it will be possible to “wink through it.” Although the West is trying to do this. But I think that they will be left with no choice. I assess the likelihood of a Third World War as high , but not this year. Unfortunately,” says Dikiy.

“They are already fighting against us with their entire arsenal, except only the nuclear weapons. We are already in a war for survival. But great players, like the States, are not participating directly yet. Therefore, we, more than anyone, are interested in the big and strong ones finally starting to fight , and not just us,” says Evgeniy Dikiy.
According to him, only two countries – Ukraine and Israel – are “waging war on the side of good.”
“And on the side of evil, a whole full-fledged coalition has already gathered, one way or another joining the war. China, like the United States, is, however, partially involved. And we are really interested in the great and powerful finally starting to fight themselves, and not just “with our own hands. But, unfortunately, this does not depend on us. A world war will definitely not start on our territory. But we will see whether it will start in Taiwan,” the expert concluded.
Earlier, Yevgeny Diky had already warned that the world was heading into the Third World War, and Ukraine had a year to prepare.
NSDC Secretary Alexey Danilov said that World War III began in 2008, when the Russian Federation attacked Georgia.
