Hanselaer is confident that Degand will be a good, if unusual, father. “But these are going to be busy times,” she then says in the video on Instagram. The duo recently moved, and there is still some work to be done on the new home.
The couple has been together for some time now, but kept their relationship under the radar for almost four years. “It wasn’t really supposed to be a ‘secret’, you know. I was just not very inclined to make our relationship public,” Hanselaer said about this earlier. “Maybe I wasn’t ready to step into the spotlight as ‘the new girlfriend of’: everyone knows what Stefaan has been through, right.”
Julie, the mother of Degand’s first child Mila (9), died unexpectedly in 2017 from the effects of meningitis. The young woman was then six months pregnant with their second child.
