In the last few hours, we have come across quite a few interesting news related to Microsoft, Xbox and the upcoming Developer_Direct event. So that you have an overview of the most important things, we summarize everything in one quick overview.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is said to be in May
Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II still doesn’t have an exact release date, but fans are hoping to find out at Thursday’s event. Magazine Extrude however, he has already come up with his own information that the title will arrive on the market on May 21st. At the same time, he refers to his sources and it is supposed to be reliable information. The title was already announced at The Game Awards 2019, i.e. more than 4 years ago.
No shadow drop
Magazine Insider Gaming instead, he speculates that this year we won’t see any shadow drop, i.e. a sudden release like last year’s Hi-Fi Rush game. In doing so, he refers to a new post at blogu Xbox, in which Microsoft mentions that all Developer_Direct games will be released sometime later. Perhaps Microsoft wanted to scare off speculation and prevent possible disappointment. Insider Gaming adds that, according to its sources, one more unmentioned title will appear at the event. But it’s not supposed to be a big game.
Final Fantasy 14 Online will (not) be open beta
Microsoft he announced final fantasy 14 online open beta for xbox saying it’s already available but official blog post later downloaded. According to him, the information was not correct. It was probably published prematurely. It probably wouldn’t be a surprise if we got an announcement during Thursday’s Developer_Direct event. Xbox apologized for the mistake and confusion to players.
Microsoft is in talks for a Final Fantasy VII Remake
And once again Final Fantasy. This time VII Remake. Journalist Jez Corden from Windows Central magazine on the podcast Xbox Two reported that Microsoft is in talks with Square Enix to release Final Fantasy VII Remake for Xbox. But even if the companies do agree, they don’t think the announcement would happen now, as it could hurt Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s release on PS5, which falls on February 29. So in this case, Corden isn’t hoping for an announcement on Developer_Direct. Otherwise, in light of the recent rapprochement between Xbox and Square Enix, it would probably not be a surprise if the improved seven actually arrived on Microsoft’s console.
We will bring you Developer_Direct in the classic way with our comment.
