The main news of today’s Galaxy Unpacked event were three new smartphones of the Galaxy S24 flagship series, but this was not the only hardware that Samsung showed. Towards the end of the press conference, a product that has been rumored for a long time flashed on the screen briefly – the smart Galaxy Ring.
Galaxy Ring: a ring riddled with sensors
Samsung showed off its ring when it was dedicated to the health platform Sasmung Health. Unfortunately, this was only a short demonstration, which does not yet answer any questions. We only know that the ring will be used to measure health and wellness functions, which is also proven by looking at the sensors located inside the ring.

Samsung described its ring as a “powerful and affordable device” that aims to change the way we look at health. The Galaxy Ring is supposed to use elements of artificial intelligence and help the user create healthier habits. The ring is supposed to be comfortable to wear, but despite its small size, it can collect useful consistent data 24 hours a day, which will then help the user to better understand their health or sleep.
Samsung can’t wait for users to try its new product, but we don’t know when that will happen yet. We don’t know the features, we don’t know the availability, we don’t even know the approximate price. We estimate that the Galaxy Ring could be officially introduced at the end of the summer together with the new generation of flexible smartphones Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip.
