Secretary of the National Campaign Team (TKN) Prabowo-Gibran, Nusron Wahidsaid if the reason Maruarar Sirait or Ara left PDIP because of President Jokowi, then he estimates that Maruarar will also support Prabowo-Gibran. Nusron said it was impossible for Ara to support another candidate pair, namely Anies Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar or AMIN.
“Yes, who does he want to support if he doesn’t support Prabowo, yes, if the reason for the move is because of Pak Jokowi then he will definitely support Prabowo-Gibran. Who do he want to support? Support Anies, that’s impossible,” said Nusron at the TKN Media Center, South Jakarta, Tuesday ( 1/16/2024).
Nusron believes that it is impossible for Ara to support AMIN because there is no chemistry. He said that usually when he was around, Ara was always there.
“If Ara supports Anies-Muhaimin, it’s impossible, there’s no chemistry, we won’t meet, because Ara is where I am, there’s usually Ara,” he said.
“Yes, the chemistry doesn’t match, they don’t meet, the chemistry doesn’t connect, right then,” he added.
Even so, Nusron feels grateful that Ara will later join TKN. Even though she didn’t join TKN, Nusron said Ara could live anywhere.
“It’s called if you go to TKN, thank God, you’re a good luck pious child, but the rich person Ara is, he can live anywhere and in any profession. Yes, he can be a bricklayer. He can be a businessman. He can be an office worker. He can be a politician. He can be anywhere.” ” he said.
When asked whether TKN had received an invitation to Ara to join, Nusron answered that there had not been one. He said that if someone wants to join, there is no need for an offer.
“If he is willing to help Mr. Prabowo Gibran and wants to go into structural work, we can accommodate him, thank God. For example, if he wants to be a volunteer and doesn’t need to go to TKN, that’s fine,” he said.
It is known that Ara left PDIP because he followed President Jokowi’s political steps, felt it was suitable and suited his conscience. Ara assesses that public satisfaction with Jokowi is still high.
“I believe and I agree with my heart and my conscience, and Mr. Jokowi has humanized the Indonesian people a lot, and also us, and also as I noted the level of public satisfaction with Mr. Jokowi is very high. And I am part of the Indonesian people who choose to follow Mr. Jokowi,” said Ara.
