There are only three days left to donate! After the major earthquake in Japan’s Noto Peninsula, the Ministry of Health and Welfare immediately opened a special disaster relief account to accept donations from the public. The Ministry of Health and Welfare announced the latest statistics today (16th). As of January 15, 2013, in the 11 days since it was opened, A total of 110,933 donations worth more than NT$392.19 million were received. The deadline for donations is only this Friday.
Under the instruction of the Executive Yuan, the Ministry of Health and Welfare announced the opening of a special disaster relief account to accept donations from the public. The donation period is from January 5 to January 19, 2020. All project donations received during the donation period will be handed over to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the future. The department is used for disaster relief in Japan’s Noto Peninsula.
The Ministry of Health and Welfare emphasized that in order to simplify administration and facilitate the issuance of receipts, the Ministry of Health and Welfare has also established a donation receipt request service website (website: https://gov.tw/gma). From now on, people can use financial institutions and the four major supermarkets to obtain receipts. After the channel donation is completed, you can go to the website to fill in the relevant information for subsequent comparison by the department. Donation information on this website can also be uploaded to the IRS at the end of the year to facilitate donors’ tax filing for the following year.
If it is inconvenient for the public to fill in the information on the website, they can state the donor’s name, phone number and receipt delivery address in the blank spaces of the remittance receipt when donating, and send it by email to 1988SW1957@mohw.gov.tw or fax it to ( 02)8590-7047.
